- Rave Computer Ranked Among North America's Top 500 Technology Integrators by VARBusiness
2003:
- Updated Sun TLDA software agreement to include Solaris 9, Solaris x86 and Linux (see 1995-1996)
- Became a Sun Authorized Service Agent; allowed Rave the ability to offer Sun hardware maintenance and professional services
- Signed contract with TDI allowing Rave to offer separately or to integrate.
2002:
- Launched ARES; Disk to Disk RAID Backup and Recovery Solution
- Selected as an Authorized Sun Microsystems OEM Technology Provider (OTP)
2001:
- Hired Director of Business Development
- Implemented Lean Manufacturing into our internal processes
- Hired two Six Sigma Black Belts to achieve and uphold Six Sigma Quality
- Established quality tracking and reporting processes to meet customer requirements as an outsource manufacturer
2000:
- Hired Chief Operating Officer
- Added Second Integration Facility
- Offered customers ability to use Rave as an outsource manufacturer for the custom or integrated services they offer their own customer base
1999:
- Signed contract with NCR; allowed Rave the ability to offer on-site maintenance of custom developed products worldwide
- Selected as an Authorized Sun Master Value-Added System Integrator (MVAI)
- Became an Authorized Exabyte Business Partner
1998:
- Rave Celebrates 10 Years
- Became an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company
- Became certified as an authorized UL Testing facility
- Designed and developed Pagemate-remote monitoring tool
- Selected as a Sun Authorized Value-Added System Integrator of multi-vendor hardware and software products
- Renewed Sun TLDA contract (see 1995-1996)
1997:
- Launched a custom line of Intel/AMD solutions
- Became a member of SPARC International
- Became a CISCO authorized reseller
- Introduced On-Line! Detective as documentation package for SPARC-based systems
- Adopted Electro Static Discharge procedures compliant to FDA standards
1995-1996:
- Became a Sun Microsystems Microelectronics Division Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM); allowed Rave to have access to products at the chip and board level
- Launched custom product line of SPARC-based systems - "Rave Systems"
- Became a Sun Authorized SunSoft OEM; allowed Rave access to all of Sun’s software products which enabled Rave to bundle hardware and software
- Signed Sun Technology License Agreement (TLDA); allowed Rave to support transitioned software products through creation of "golden master" disks
1993-1994:
- Rave Financial Services, Inc. is formed
- Rave becomes a Sun Authorized Remanufactured Reseller: 1 of 2 in North America at the beginning of the Sun Remanufactured Program; eventually offered to all Sun VARS
- Rave enters agreement with Sun Service for national support of Sun Remanufactured systems
1988-1992:
- Rave Computer is Formed in 1988
- Rave becomes the largest reseller of remanufactured Data General hardware
- Rave becomes largest independent reseller of refurbished Sun hardware
- Launched the Web site (1992)
